A wonderful family outing. The chef's suggestion was excellent! The meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were superb. Impeccable service, always with a smile. A fantastic discovery! We'll be back to celebrate other family events! Thank you to the team!

A lovely brasserie opposite Angers train station. The cuisine is varied, refined, and delicious (the seafood is incredibly fresh). Impeccable and courteous service. An excellent choice!

With a terrace and two indoor dining rooms, one of which is air-conditioned, there's something for everyone. The cuisine is very interesting, and beyond successful traditional dishes, there are some truly convincing innovations. We'll definitely be back. Not to mention the efficient and friendly service.

Our female server was outstanding, polite and efficient, just perfect. Food was excellent. During a hot day and a full restaurant the air conditioning is insufficient.

I came on a Monday at lunchtime without a reservation, and the waitress was very kind. I didn't even need to ask about the daily special; she explained everything to me. The salad, the dish of the day (see photo), was beautifully presented, the portion was perfect, and it was delicious. The service was quick and very professional, so everything was great. The ingredients were fresh and of good quality.

05/07/2026: Beneath its simple model—a wood-fired grill restaurant—the establishment delivers a perfect experience: excellent, attentive, and friendly service with just the right amount of distance to ensure privacy, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere! The pea gazpacho is exquisite and delightful, accompanied by toasted pine nuts. The meat is cooked to perfection, from the bone marrow to the pork pluma and the butcher's cut. We haven't had such tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat in a long time! Expect a hearty meal, but we highly recommend Le Grandgousier for a truly high-quality dining experience. Another excellent point is the service, which is very welcoming and friendly. Even though we live far away, we hope to return. Thank you for this memorable dinner!
