I stopped at this restaurant, and I'm glad I did. I was greeted courteously and wanted to start with a Breton kir, then the homemade tartare (a real treat), accompanied by a Belgian beer, and finally a kouign amann, an excellent dessert.

Excellent restaurant, perfectly located in the heart of Vannes. The service was quick and efficient. We had delicious mussels and fries. The calamari with tartar sauce was excellent, as was the chocolate fondant for dessert. We had a wonderful time as a family at this establishment and will gladly return.

A wonderful discovery in the lovely town of Vannes... The mussels were excellent, and the fries were homemade (which is becoming increasingly rare in restaurants). The tuna steak was delicious... In short, I'll definitely be back...

An excellent experience! The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The servers were very friendly and professional. We have absolutely no complaints; we ate very well. I highly recommend it!

The owner gave us a fantastic welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the best steak tartare in the West.

Balade en Crepanie

06/08/2026: Excellent crepes and the owners are very friendly.
01/08/2026: On Wednesday evenings during the summer, the Rue des Fontaines, lined with numerous restaurants of all kinds, is closed to traffic. Tables and chairs are therefore set up in the middle of the street. Last Wednesday evening, with our children and grandchildren, we opted for crêpes and dined at La Ballade en Crêpanie. The crêpes were excellent, the service was great, and the summery weather made for a pleasant evening. (Given its popularity, it is essential to book in advance.)

15/08/2026: The waiters were fantastic. They were very helpful with our choices, especially regarding gluten-free options. They adapted the dishes for us, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.
