Arrived by chance for the first time this afternoon... Top visuals/atmosphere (simple/friendly) Welcome/Service (professional/fast/efficient/very pleasant/fun boss) Food (generous/very good/homemade) As written at the bottom of the menu, "good luck"! But it's simple, you just have to go... I didn't have a cafeteria when I was traveling to Chartres...done!

04/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The homemade terrines were delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. An experience to be repeated.
11/02/2026: A disaster after a very positive first experience... Over an hour's wait for an aperitif and a main course! The waiter was friendly and courteous, but she was alone serving, which didn't help matters! Several dishes and desserts were out of stock... It would be nice if they had announced this beforehand and told the customers! We came from Orléans and left angry with a hefty bill and no compensation whatsoever! There are some fundamental issues that need addressing! We were therefore forced to have dessert elsewhere, at a nearby establishment... In short, this will be the last time we go to this place, which is a shame because we had a good time last June! PS: No regrets, considering the response and the lack of self-reflection!

Brasserie de l'Ouest

16/03/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant open in the evening before a show at the Colosseum... this is the one to choose. Very welcoming, excellent value for money. We had booked in advance.
16/03/2026: We ate the best calf's head. An excellent gribiche sauce with superb vegetables. The portions were very generous. A very warm welcome and attentive service.
