A must-stop every time I'm in Chartres! It's always a real pleasure to eat there: the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the dishes and desserts are excellent, and the value for money is impeccable. A true favorite!

07/05/2026: A local recommended this crêperie to me, and I wasn't disappointed: excellent value for money, a varied menu, exquisite savory buckwheat crêpes and to-die-for sweet crêpes, warm and friendly service, quality ingredients including 100% organic buckwheat flour—in short, I highly recommend this fantastic crêperie. And thank you again for the exceptional welcome, which is sadly becoming rare these days!

Le Cafe du General

17/07/2026: A pleasant brasserie; the outdoor misting system was very welcome during the heatwave. The service and the friendly welcome from the waiters were appreciated. The food was good, although a bit pricey. We will gladly return.
13/07/2026: We were served by Antoine, a great waiter, very entertaining!
