A lovely terrace with a huge selection of sweet treats for breakfast and afternoon tea. The quality is excellent and the prices are low. The service is good. There's a slightly smaller selection of beer and other drinks for a quick drink.

I ate it on the terrace. I was flustered because I didn't know how to order, but a female staff member explained it to me in fluent English. I ordered, and another female staff member brought it to the terrace. She was very kind. The taste was delicious, very sweet.

Their cakes are delicious (Chartrins, macarons, shortbread, and tarte tatin) and reasonably priced. Their chocolate is also very good. I'm from Auxerre, but I'll come back to Chartres just for that…

The terrace and service were very pleasant on this winter Sunday afternoon. We were allowed to relax and enjoy ourselves, even though they were nearing the end of service. The coffee and macarons were consistently good and delicious.

A very enjoyable experience. The macarons and crepes were excellent. The chocolate had a rich, chocolatey flavor. And all at an affordable price and served quickly!

22/12/2025: The price was reasonable considering the room's amenities. The wardrobe was small (one person, one compartment) and there were no coat hooks. The hooks at the entrance were only 1.20 meters high. We also couldn't find anywhere to hang our towels. There were traces of hair on the shower walls. The only TV available was a smart TV with no satellite channels. I would still recommend it for a temporary stay.
17/11/2025: I stayed a few days at Le Chêne Fleuri. The welcome was warm and prompt, the room was beautifully decorated, and the bedding was comfortable. The setting is very peaceful and green, ideally located for exploring Chartres. I highly recommend it!

14/01/2026: I really enjoyed my Caesar salad, followed by the fish, rice, beans, and then the crème brûlée; it was very good.
30/09/2025: Friendly welcome. Fast, friendly and attentive service, simple menu but well-prepared dishes.
