Food was okay. The service was somewhat careless. Too bad it isn't made clear when you order the 'cafe gourmand' dessert and the waiter asks if you want black coffee or with milk, this suddenly saves you two euros. The restaurant had a typical Parisian feel. I wouldn't choose to eat there again.

The restaurant is very beautiful. Which made us want to go there. However, when we arrived the wait was very long. Between each dish we had to wait 20 minutes even though the restaurant was far from full. We had a starter with Guacamole, we were not given any bread. The water served was not fresh even though it was very hot. The cocktail was very good and the food ok but the service ruined the experience.

Nicely situated bistro with good food options. Came for lunch and there was fast, friendly service with good food options. Meal came quickly and was fresh out of the kitchen. It's on the corner and so it's well situated for lounging as well. Parking lot available directly across the street (next to the St Jacques Church). Easy walking distance from the Chateau de Compiegne as well.

Belle brasserie style 1900. Un très bon accueil. Des plats de brasserie bien maîtrisés, tarifs en conséquence. La profiterole XXL est énorme. Presque impossible à finir ou alors prévoir à partager. Excellente ile flottante aussi. Parking payant juste en face.

29/06/2024: We gingen er uiteten. Plaats bovenin de zaak. Geen Bonsoir, maar meteen of ik had gereserveerd. Bediening door een jong meisje, totaal geen horeca ervaring en kon niet eens een fles wijn openen. Het was hopeloos. Vergat ook de lepel bij het dessert en de rekening. Laat staat proeven of bijschenken. Eten was prima. Menu van € 29 genomen. Maar de mensen naast ons kregen foutief eten en dienden een klacht in. De kok begon de discussie. Zo enorm fout. Al met al lekker eten, maar de rest is waardeloos. Zo ook de klantvriendelijkheid van de vrouw achter de bar. Ik kom er niet meer terug.

Le Saint Clair

01/09/2024: It’s a bistro with bistro-style dishes. Small, quiet terrace on the pedestrian street, friendly waiter, very decent and well-stocked dishes, including wine in a pitcher. Uncommon thing: menu, including weekends which gives very good value for money
01/09/2024: Value for money ok, small downside, the clientele is lacking especially when they are disrespectful to women knowing that they seemed to be friends with the waiter I find it a shame because his image takes a hit too. Hygiene not great. And he says that the fries are homemade but I doubt that they had the same taste as in fast food.....if that's not the case it's not a shame to say it...
