One of the best crêperies in Saint-Malo. Richard and his team always welcome you with a smile, the quality has always been excellent. We've been coming since 2008, and La Brigantine has always been a warm and welcoming experience for the family. The galette is delicious, and so is the crêpe. The service is discreet and quick, and the owner is very accommodating. A Saint-Malo institution!

Updated March 2026: Still very good. We returned during our trip to Saint-Malo. The food hasn't changed, the crepes are still delicious!! Original review June 2020: Excellent! The service was more than perfect, the crepes were to die for, and the value for money was great. Reservations are necessary, otherwise arrive before 7 pm to try and get a table, or like us, at 6:30 pm when they open. Enjoy your meal!

We called yesterday around noon to see if there was still space available. There was no answer right away, but the manager called us back, which was much appreciated. Our reservation was then accepted, and thank goodness, because we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The galettes were delicious and very generous.

It’s not pricey and the atmosphere is super friendly. The view from the terrace is beautiful too. If you are looking for a place for traditional galettes and crepes, run to Crêperie Solid’Or!
