Yesterday we discovered Le Comptoir, the more affordable version of La Table de la Butte. A very nice menu, suitable for vegetarians (which we are). For 37 euros, we were treated to some delightful surprises and a very warm welcome! Go without hesitation!

We had lunch at the counter, a set menu with starter, main course, and dessert. We were a little disappointed by the starter and main course, which were rather unremarkable. The pleasant surprise was the dessert: a varied selection of pastries made in the bakery just below the restaurant, served by a very friendly and professional young waiter.

An excellent Breton restaurant in an exceptional setting! A magnificent discovery: La Table de la Butte in Plouider! We had the pleasure of dining at the gourmet restaurant, and the experience was truly perfect from beginning to end. The setting is absolutely superb: an elegant dining room with a sea view that enhances the meal. Here, everything is meticulously planned, with great taste and a true consistency with the spirit of the establishment. As for the cuisine, it's flawless. Excellent dishes, precise, flavorful, and elegant, with a beautiful touch of modernity. You can taste all the hard work of Chef Nicolas Conraux and his team, as well as a genuine desire to showcase local products and producers. The execution is perfect, and each plate is a true discovery. Special mention must also be made of the little details that make all the difference. The various homemade butters, especially the seaweed butter and the Guérande salt butter, are absolutely delicious. And the breads, baked in the owners' own bakery, are simply excellent. After a night at La Butte, it was time for breakfast… and what a breakfast it was to start the day! A truly exceptional variety of sweet and savory items, numerous homemade preparations, and a beautiful selection of local products made for a generous, high-quality, and above all, delicious breakfast. The service is on par with the cuisine: professional, attentive, and warm, with just the right touch of simplicity that makes the experience particularly enjoyable. It's also lovely to see the chef come into the dining room, taking the time to greet guests and chat with them. Also worth noting for those who want to experience La Butte in a different way: the bistro offers a set lunch menu, still in a magnificent setting with a sea view. A truly wonderful gastronomic experience and a place well worth a visit. A big congratulations to Nicolas Conraux and his entire team for this excellent Breton restaurant! We will gladly return. 👏
