We dined during the week at La Cabane in Lacanau and had an exceptional time! Seated outside, alone, in an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, we were greeted by extremely warm and friendly service—you can feel a real passion and a desire to please.
As for the food: the fritters were as good as those we've had in the West Indies! My partner enjoyed his meat and melt-in-the-mouth gratin dauphinois, and I chose a scallop tartare with another fish and vegetables—our plates could have gone without a dishwasher because we soaked them so much.
A wonderful discovery, full of flavor and humanity.

A wonderful discovery! The waitress who looked after us was really warm and friendly, the service was super fast and the dishes are prepared with a real immersion in exotic products. I highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely come back!

Very disappointing!
We ordered the meat parillada, three small pieces of meat, a dish that would have called for a good hot sauce. We got mayonnaise and wholegrain mustard. For a 30-euro dish, we expect something else!!!
We asked to change the vegetables on a plate: impossible, the waitress told us... when we saw that the vegetables were added to a small dish, it was really excessive!
It wouldn't have cost anything to put another casserole of vegetables!!! They weren't mixed with the meat!! The waitress was almost unfriendly; in short, we won't be going back.

Unfortunately, the cook was alone in the kitchen, so we had to wait over an hour for the food. That wasn't great, considering we had three hungry people with us.

An incredible atmosphere, thanks to the decoration of the place which takes you to the end of the world! Away from the city center of Lacanau, it is a nice surprise, the welcome is warm. The menu invites you to travel, with original dishes influenced by the chef's travels.!

A super calm setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Cuisine that takes us on a journey. The staff is attentive. Our meal was excellent, as were the cocktails. The children's menu is also great.

Yahoo what a discovery and pleasure to come for this brunch, we had the Saint Gilles and frankly it was more than enough. A delight for the taste buds and for the eyes in a magnificent setting. A smiling and adorable waitress. A cuisine full of flavor and tastes, each one crazier than the last. Visually a real painting and this fresh fruit juice was delicious. To do and do again! We will come back with pleasure.
