La Cabane Aux Coquillages sur Saintes-Maries-De-La-Mer

A truly beautiful and stunning place, right on the seafront, with a fantastic atmosphere and a location that makes everything even more special. The raw fish is absolutely worth trying: incredibly fresh and excellent quality. A special mention goes to the oysters, with several varieties to try... truly fabulous! 🦪 The wine selection is also excellent, perfect to pair with the raw fish. An experience we definitely recommend and would gladly do again. The only flaw, and unfortunately quite significant, is that payment is cash only. In a place of this caliber, we would expect the option to pay by card as well.

Service starts at 12 pm, and they don't have the products listed. They were selling oysters from Bouzigues, which isn't very far away, while oysters from Marennes and Cancale were readily available from much further afield. A shame. Note that they don't accept credit cards. Otherwise, the place is friendly.

A charming spot recommended by our guesthouse! Craving fresh, flavorful oysters, delicious smoked salmon, bottarga, and more, accompanied by a glass of white wine? This is the place! Plus, the service is efficient and incredibly friendly, and the owner is lovely! In short, I highly recommend it!

The welcome was perfect, the Camargue oysters were delicious, and the shellfish and salmon were perfect! We had a wonderful time! We'll be back!
