La Cabane Perchée - Futuroscope sur Chasseneuil-Du-Poitou

Contrary to what I had read, the way to Futuroscope is very well marked; follow the signs and a yellow line on the ground which goes from the hotel to Futuroscope.

The hotel is ok, but has great ways for improvement. The room was a bit rocked out, scratches and worm off paint everywhere, clean though. The window is not fully soundproof so the TGV and highway noise is present. The breakfast is honestly disappointing, off the shelf croissants and pain au chocolat, some cut fruits, some ham and basic scrumbled eggs and beef. No vegetables at all. No other hot dishes. The baked goods are not very high quality. The staff is very friendly and couldn't be better.

Stay at Futuroscope in Poitiers at the Mercure Hotel. Great stay at this hotel. Very comfortable bed. Spacious room. Very warm welcome. Kettle. Great breakfast.

Located 600 meters from the park, the location appealed to us. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. However, the room renovations need improvement. The minibar kept our belongings at room temperature (despite explanations, we still found this rather odd…), the shower tray showed significant wear and tear, and a baseboard next to the bed was half torn off. Not to mention the noise from the nearby road during the night… In short, it's a practical choice, but not up to the expected standard.

Always satisfied with my stays at Mercure hotels. Ideal location near the toll exit, but with no noise pollution.

The restaurant is delicious and the hotel is very good.

The stay at this hotel was perfectly fine. The welcome was warm and professional. Breakfast was adequate and, frankly, quite comprehensive: and the dining room is large. There's something for everyone. There's a relaxation area, television, and a bar at the hotel entrance. Plenty of parking. Dinner is available at the hotel with various service times, and the service is quick. Many thanks to Emeline and Sébastien for their professionalism, smiles, and kindness. You were fantastic. The rooms are very pleasant and I would say spacious. The only downside is that I didn't see a kettle (for tea), coffee maker, etc., in my room, and no towels. (Perhaps they forgot them.) I recommend this hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is a bit dated but well located.

Perfect location for a weekend at Futuroscope, just a ten-minute walk from the park entrance. The staff are charming, smiling, and helpful, always ready to lend a hand when needed. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied, served in a bright room, which is a lovely way to start the day. The rooms show their age a bit (peeling paint, cracked light fixtures, etc.), but this doesn't affect the quality of the bedding (although the pillows were a little too soft, personally), and the soundproofing is excellent. The Nuxe toiletries are superb. In short, I recommend it for a short overnight stay during a visit to Futuroscope.
