La Cabane Perchée - Futuroscope sur Chasseneuil-Du-Poitou

Located a 10-minute walk from Futuroscope, this hotel is perfect. We stayed one night with friends; the rooms are modern, clean, and spacious—perfect for our stay. We also dined at the hotel restaurant, which is simple but very good, with generous portions and impeccable service. The hotel and restaurant offer excellent value for money.

The hotel is close to Futuroscope/Aquascope (10-minute walk), which means you don't need a car. However, it would be good to repaint the doors and walls. The carpet in the bedroom is unacceptable as it's not very hygienic (dust, stains, etc.), there's mold around the window (humidity), and the sealant around the sink and shower is dirty. For a 4-star hotel, I think it needs a significant renovation compared to other Mercure hotels in France. In any case, the staff is very professional and attentive to guests. We still managed to have two good nights.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay, and Marie's restaurant was very good – a nice surprise. However, the glossy toilet paper and the limited supply of tissues in the bathroom were not ideal for a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is well located, and the staff are very professional and attentive, but unfortunately, the room didn't live up to expectations: the furniture was damaged (completely worn out), not to mention the badly damaged window sills. The shower tile grout was black with mold, as were the other grout lines, which is a real shame. A word of advice for breakfast: if you want a good selection, don't go after 9:00 AM. The first day at 9:00 AM, everything was perfect, everything was available. The second day, breakfast was at 9:45 AM (available from 6:30 AM to 10:15 AM), and there were no more eggs or whole-grain bread. The waitress's response was: "We're out of eggs in the kitchen... and whole-grain bread." We had to ask for cups and plates. It wasn't the fault of the kind waitress, who was unfortunately working alone and doing her best.

We spent one night there with our three children. The rooms were very clean, the staff very pleasant, and the breakfast was plentiful. I recommend it if you're going to Futuroscope.

A very good experience at this high-quality hotel during our visit to Futuroscope. It's very well located, a maximum 15-minute walk away. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast offered was very generous and varied, with something for everyone. I highly recommend this establishment.
