One of those places that could be exceptional and is just perfect. no criticism either of the welcome or of the cuisine, but there is a little something missing that is difficult to identify so that the fullness is there. A bit of madness, risk-taking perhaps. Thank you for this dinner.

Cold and damp so entire table had Boeuf Bourguignon and simple salad made with delicious local lettuces and a subtle vinegarette. Beef was succulent and not overly salty. Mashed potatoes light and airy, full of potato flavor. Extensive wine list. Some hard to find, expensive bottles from Rousseau, Dujac, etc. We found a well-priced 2016 Jean Tardy Nuits Saint George's 1er Cru Aux Argillas. Finished with excellent and hot Caffè Gourmand.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici sur le chemin Beaune Dijon. Le bœuf bourguignon et les vins de région ont été excellents. Le service a été gentil et rapide. Être assis à l’extérieur par ce temps fait du bien également!

12/07/2024: Very nice staff, spontaneous and nice welcome. We stayed here on our way back home. Countless better experience than the hotels of “the big chains” along the highway. We had an extra day of vacation!
03/07/2024: Very warm welcome, simple but comfortable room, decent bathroom and separate toilet .We have gotten into the habit of stopping there on our vacation route, the little town is very pleasant. Just a shame that the restaurant is closed, but there is a choice of restaurants around.

01/06/2024: Dismal dark restaurant on a side street. Oeffs Meurette was ok but the poached eggs were not properly cooked. The white was liquid. The chicken in the main course was tough. When my partner complained about the Crème Brûlée which she could not eat, Madam shrieked at her and she tried to suggest that we thought she was getting Crème Caramel. That was not the case but even so the texture of the custard should have been similar. Avoid
31/05/2024: Très bonne table où sont servis des mets raffinés à base de produits du terroir. Seul bémol, un service un peu lent du fait qu’il n’y a qu’une personne pour assurer le service à table, le bar et le règlement.
