La Cabotte
Nuits-Saint-Georges
30/08/2026: Impeccable service, friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent food!
The only slight downside was the bread, which wasn't great. But overall, a very good place.
25/08/2026: We found this place and it's great. They treated us wonderfully. We ordered from the set menu and had two glasses of wine.

24/07/2026: Thank you for your smile.
Congratulations on the food, and the decor takes us back to our childhood.
A truly wonderful place.

La Cote d'Or
Nuits-Saint-Georges
18/07/2026: Friendly staff, nice food and wines, we had a really good time! Price is not super high, but certainly not the cheapest around. Unfortunately I can only give 4, but it is really a 4,5/5.
26/06/2026: For a restaurant in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the prices are quite reasonable, on the higher end compared to surrounding cities like Dijon.
I ordered a vegetarian burger and was unfortunately extremely disappointed. It's essentially the same as the regular burger and the same price, but with a breaded vegetable patty that was clearly frozen. There's very little effort put into it; I expected a slightly higher-quality veggie patty for the price. The tomatoes are roughly chopped, which is rather unpleasant. A nice touch was the eggplant caviar in the burger, which added a bit of freshness.
However, the pizzas here are very good, at a price that certainly beats the competition in Nuits-Saint-Georges for the quality of the ingredients. I recommend ordering dishes with pesto, as it's homemade. You get that real, fresh pesto feeling, which is very welcome in this heat. About a year and a half ago, I tried their eggs meurette, which weren't very expensive for the quality of the dish. In short, if you're on a budget and want to eat well, I recommend this restaurant. Best of luck!

Patisserie Olivier Bourau
Nuits-Saint-Georges
28/11/2025: I wandered into this place on a grey, rainy November afternoon in Nuits-Saint-Georges and instantly liked it.
Inside, it’s warm and quiet. A cosy tea room with a surprisingly rich selection of teas served in proper kettles instead of cheap bags. Simple, artisanal, and exactly what you want when the weather turns. The staff were friendly, the kind who make you feel like you’ve been here before.
Parking right at the door is a pain, but a larger lot is five minutes away, so no drama.
If you’re following the Grand Cru route and need a break from wine, this spot works beautifully. Honey, teas, sweets to enjoy on the spot or take home, plus a calm corner to breathe. I’d happily return, especially on a cold day 👍
22/11/2025: We had a wonderful time at this tea room.
The saleswoman was absolutely lovely, very professional, and gave us excellent advice.

Le Chef Coq
Nuits-Saint-Georges
15/08/2026: The setting is exceptional, the staff are truly top-notch, and the food is delicious.
20/07/2026: We were so disappointed… We came several times a few years ago, and the presentation of the dishes was magnificent and the food exquisite. This time, there was no presentation; the dishes were good, but we expected more from this fine-dining restaurant, whose prices have, in turn, increased.
Similarly, the service was not up to par (aperitif glasses were left on the table until the end of the meal).
We truly regret this, as this restaurant was a benchmark for us.

Cafe de Pari
Nuits-Saint-Georges
20/08/2026: We had dinner at Café de Paris this evening and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious and incredibly flavorful. We especially want to highlight the Aperol Spritz – for me, the best I've had on our trip so far!
The service was also very friendly and, above all, pleasantly quick. We therefore give it our highest and unqualified recommendation.
Next time we're in the area, we will definitely eat at Café de Paris again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
16/08/2026: Terrible. The vegetarian salad was 99% made up of basic lettuce leaves, even though the menu didn't list "lettuce" in the ingredients, which were practically nonexistent. This isn't cooking; it's treating the customer like an idiot. Besides, the terrace was practically empty compared to the terraces of neighboring restaurants. Go somewhere else; it looks much better.

L'Alambic
Nuits-Saint-Georges
02/07/2026: Great location (5 mins to the old town and a quick walk to the vineyards) and friendly staff. Rooms could use a bit of renovation and the mobile A/C cooling the rooms is loud and not very effective. Ina. Hot summer day, bring earplugs!
01/04/2026: Impeccable and very quiet room, welcoming staff, good breakfast, nothing to complain about!

Gaudillot Cedric
Nuits-Saint-Georges
09/07/2026: All the breads, especially the wholemeal bread, are far too overcooked (too dry) since it reopened. We don't know why. Even when ordering and specifying "can you make me a wholemeal loaf that isn't too cooked," when you arrive to pick up your order and find that your wholemeal bread is almost burnt?! I won't be going back. It's a shame because before it closed, the wholemeal bread was very soft and not overcooked. What a pity!
18/05/2026: I should clarify that this review has been modified; it originally praised this bakery. However, since its closure for health reasons several months ago, prices have increased while portions are smaller than before. Furthermore, I've twice found a hair trapped in pastries (after the shop reopened), and last year a large dead blue fly stuck to the bottom of a slice of fruit tart. Aside from that, I repeat, the products offered are very good and of high quality (excellent pastries, a good variety of breads, and the same goes for the sandwiches and quiches; there are also generous bags of day-old pastries sold for between €1.50 and €2.50), even if the management of this business seems rather poor (a swarm of wasps for at least one summer in all the display cases, and a previously very high staff turnover). In addition, the saleswoman is cold and unwelcoming. This is regrettable as I am a regular customer.

Red Café
Nuits-Saint-Georges
12/09/2024: Passing through the region and what a discovery!
Bar which serves very good beers and wines with Simon and his boss who take great care of their customers.
I highly recommend this place if you have the opportunity to stop for a little music break.
08/08/2024: Service au top. Carte des mets simple et bonne ( galettes , saucisson, escargots…)
Bonne musique ( blues, rock, funk)
Piano accordé et serveur et patron sympas.
Il manque plus qu’une soirée musique live :)

Hotel Bar De L'Etoile
Nuits-Saint-Georges
26/08/2024: Lovely little French hotel in excellent situation for town centre and easy access to motorway.
Newly refurbished bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Spotlessly clean.
Excellent value for money. Only drawback is the charming spiral staircase to each floor.
Good wholesome food in restaurant and excellent breakfast.
Very pleasant and helpful owner and staff.
We have visited twice and would thoroughly recommend L’Etoile.
22/07/2024: A pity we couldn’t eat here. The menu and the prices looked all right, but we were turned down in a very unwelcoming way… being snapped at in English (while French is our first and second language), is not the right way to approach potential customers. (Especially if there are plenty of free tables inside )
Turning people down is also possible in a polite and respectful way.
