The food is good but nothing exceptional, the two seasonal waiters have left and I understand why when you see the waitresses talking to them as if they were dogs, the owner has a very bad reputation in the village, he makes problems with other shopkeepers, he likes to denigrate people like his staff and also customers, money is his only motivation.

Sweet spot in Nuits St Georges. Great area, good menu options. They were able to accommodate my celiac diet, which was a bonus, and even had gf bread for me.
We were seated outside, and that was totally fine. My ONLY complaint was that as the evening went on, the temperature cooled a little and we didn't bring extra layers (we didn't realize we'd be outside). Patio heaters would've been a nice addition to the space, but maybe this is a Canadian thing?
In any case, don't hesitate to book, but make sure you clarify whether or not you'll be outside, if the weather is iffy.

This restaurant was everything I hoped it would be and more. The food was served promptly, presented beautifully and tasted incredible. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small, cosy and gets the blend of old a new just right. And of course the wine was divine with possibly the biggest wine menu I have ever seen. :-)

What a lovely restaurant. Friendly service, kindly speaking English when they realized our French wasn’t up to scratch. Wonderful French classics: escargots and boeuf bourguignon especially. The wine list is something else; 6 pages of champagne alone! We asked for a recommendation and they served us a wonderful local white and red wine. Great value place.

A big compliment to the entire team! We had a wonderful evening with our two-year-old daughter. The service was very attentive and charming, the wait times were perfect, and the food was outstanding. The dishes were cooked to perfection, creative and seasonal, using regional ingredients. They were wonderfully seasoned, the portions were just right, and the wines were also a perfect match, served at the ideal temperature and fairly priced. Relaxing music, lovely lighting, and a comfortable room temperature left nothing to be desired. We will definitely be back!
