Last night, I dined at this gourmet restaurant with my father, and the experience was absolutely remarkable. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and atmosphere were exceptional. The staff was very attentive, professional, and warm, which immediately put us at ease. The decor was elegant, the table was set with great care, and the tableware was magnificent, making the experience visually stunning. We chose the tasting menu, which included amuse-bouches, two appetizers, a main course, and a dessert. Each dish was a true delight: a wealth of flavors, perfectly balanced combinations, and nothing was too heavy or excessive. Everything was perfectly balanced and truly excellent. Initially, we thought the portions might be a little small and that we would still be hungry at the end, but it was quite the opposite. The meal was very well thought out, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and left around 10:30 p.m., but the time flew by. The dishes arrived at a perfect pace, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of the meal. I should also mention that it was my father's birthday, and I had mentioned it when making the reservation. The staff had a small token of appreciation for him, which touched us deeply and made the evening even more special. In short, a perfect experience from beginning to end. For me, it's a 10/10 and a place I recommend without hesitation.

My first experience at this restaurant was on Valentine's Day. The food was excellent and the dishes were beautifully presented, promising a wonderful evening. Unfortunately, the service was nowhere near the quality of the food. As someone who has worked in the industry for many years, the discrepancy was striking and somewhat spoiled the experience. It's a real shame, because with better service, this establishment could be truly remarkable.

Good food, natural wine, orange wines

We had dinner last night and the food was truly excellent. The dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. However, being in the industry, I had high expectations for the service and was unfortunately disappointed. The presentations seemed very rehearsed, lacking spontaneity and emotion, which made the interaction feel somewhat impersonal. From the outset, there was a lack of communication. I had specified that I didn't want seafood or shellfish, yet my dish was served before I even checked. On that same dish, the biscuit fell into the bowl and completely mixed everything up. It was then swapped with my friend's, even though it was already spoiled, without any alternative being offered. The service was also very slow, with about ten minutes between each course, which disrupted the flow of the meal. We weren't offered any hot drinks after dessert. These are small details, but in an establishment of this caliber, they matter enormously. It's all the more disappointing because the food itself is truly excellent. We'll return nonetheless, hoping for a more harmonious dining experience.

The cuisine is simply remarkable: precise, creative, and perfectly executed dishes with balanced flavors and sublimely presented ingredients. Each course was a true gastronomic experience. However, the service unfortunately did not live up to the high standard of the gastronomy. The staff lacked attentiveness and fluidity, and the dining experience did not reflect the high standards one has the right to expect from a Michelin-starred establishment. The same was true for the wine service: the selection seemed interesting and of high quality, but the way it was presented and served clearly lacked professionalism. Few explanations, a haphazard pairing, and a lack of coordination somewhat marred the overall experience. This is all the more regrettable because the cuisine truly deserves praise. With service that matches the quality of its dishes, this establishment could offer an exceptional and complete experience.

Tasting Menu A delightful stop on the road to Val Thorens. A true success. Splendid presentation, wonderful texture and flavor, beautifully prepared ingredients. The truffle egg and beef jus were excellent. A truly wonderful place. The wine selection was excellent, including a lovely white wine. A must-visit.

We had a wonderful time at La Cachette. The restaurant is modern, the dining room is comfortable, and there's a subtle Japanese influence in its clean, minimalist design. As one would expect from a Michelin-starred establishment, the cuisine is full of surprises and attention to detail, enhancing the overall experience. We particularly enjoyed the seafood, which was showcased beautifully. One minor drawback: it's a shame the glasses aren't changed between wine tastings (not between the two white wines, but between the white and red wines, to be precise!). The service was attentive and uncomplicated in the best sense of the word.

It was a wonderful discovery. We let Sébastien guide us in choosing the wines. Excellent.

We were slightly disappointed during our visit. The service didn't live up to the standards of a Michelin-starred restaurant: no glass of champagne was offered, unlike at the next table, and the glasses weren't changed. The wine pairing, mainly Côtes du Rhône, lacked refinement considering the price. The decor also showed some neglect, notably a torn armchair. As for the food, the dishes lacked seasoning, and the ceviche was surprisingly bland.
