La Cagette sur Lyon

I discovered this little place at lunchtime, excellent food, vegetarian the boss. Cool to do again.

It was the best dish during my three weeks of traveling in France, absolutely delicious!

I came by a little late and I was still able to get a takeaway (lemon chicken). I was made very welcome, the owner was very accommodating with me, and what's more, I had a great time, everything was good , thank you again I will come back!

3ème dîner à la Cagette (on pourrait surtout dire chez Malek). On aime à chaque fois (sur place ou à emporter). Le chef fait mijoter ses plats le matin et pour le service, c’est de la cuisine minute, généreuse. On y mange très bien (c’est frais et savoureux). On y passe aussi un moment à échanger avec Malek. Mon fils de 12 ans adore et papote avec Malek. Ce dernier n’a pas la langue dans sa poche. Il est un spectacle. Quand on y vient une fois, à la 2ème on est comme chez soi. Je le dis, parce que cela m’a touchée: un vieux monsieur est venu, qui comptait ses pièces. Malek lui a offert son dîner. Ça se résume à ce geste, je crois, à la Cagette. Du cœur. Caro.

We discovered this restaurant on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, a very warm restaurant, market cuisine full of freshness this morning there were sardines on the menu, I, who am Mediterranean, have never eaten one like that and its baked vegetables and cute it's a delight and Malek an extraordinary person a very nice discovery don't hesitate go there with your eyes closed
