A wonderful discovery. A very warm welcome, friendly and unpretentious atmosphere, and above all, delicious food!

The pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious. The owner-cook-waiter works very hard to fulfill his three roles as best he can.

A fantastic place! The food is delicious, the music is excellent, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and all at a price that beats the competition. A huge thank you to the chef for the wonderful cuisine! I highly recommend it!

We received a warm welcome from the chef and his son. We enjoyed sausage rougail with lemon-cured chicken and chicken couscous. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, homemade dishes, bursting with flavors that transported us. We found the chef's lovingly prepared cuisine to be absolutely delicious. A wonderful, convivial moment in the midst of the Festival of Lights was delightful! A big thank you from the ladies of Avignon and their friend; we will gladly return!

What a wonderful encounter with Malek! A chef passionate about his work as a restaurateur, and so charming, so down-to-earth, and incredibly kind. Even funny :-) A human-scale restaurant, masterfully run by Malek himself. We chose a vegetarian dish. What a treat! Exceptional cuisine bursting with flavor! His cooking isn't just about couscous. He offers vegetarian dishes, but not only! There's something for everyone. Excellent value for money. We can't wait to come back and discover his upcoming new menu. We will definitely dine at this establishment again when we return to Lyon. We enjoyed it so much that we came back that evening to buy a veggie couscous for two to enjoy when we got home. Real market cuisine. At this price, that's rare!

Perfect, a truly wonderful place. The prices are reasonable, the products are fresh, and Malek is a very friendly person with character, just like his cooking. It really reminds me of the atmosphere of an authentic, traditional Lyonnais bistro. Talking with him, I realized he's a true Croix-Rousse native, a Lyonnais who loves his city.
