We had dinner at La Calypso on Wednesday evening. What a lovely surprise! 😲 The atmosphere was exotic, warm, and inviting, with jazzy music playing softly in the background and a crackling fireplace. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The owner was very friendly, and we also met Litchi (I hope I'm not misspelling the dog's name). Next time we're in Arcachon, we'll definitely be dining at this restaurant again.

We had a wonderful time. A warm welcome, home-style cooking, everything homemade, all accompanied by a lovely jazzy soundtrack. We especially enjoyed the perfectly cooked whelks (quite rare!) and the bouillabaisse. We highly recommend this establishment and wouldn't hesitate to return.

I had my first dinner here and came back again on my last day for lunch. I loved the atmosphere, the lovely dog “Litchi,” and the warm, comforting food. It felt very welcoming！

Don't believe some reviews; the food is simple and delicious. The service is impeccable, creating a family atmosphere; the manager's passion for her work shines through in the way she takes care of her customers. A special mention goes to the fish soup, which is absolutely delicious!

I recommend choosing the daily menu. There's a good selection. I had the seafood starter and mussels and tart for dessert. Good value for money. A very good wine selection! Friendly service from the lady of the house.
