We had a lovely dinner, the dishes and desserts were excellent, the service was top-notch, they should just think about serving a simple side dish with the aperitif, I highly recommend going there.

We were very disappointed. The scallop dish could have used a bit more leek fondue for a main course, not to mention the gritty texture. It's a shame, because the dish was very well prepared! To top it all off, after a 30-minute wait, no one came to take our order for dessert; everyone was too busy lighting a birthday candle! One person could have taken our order! We left without coffee or dessert, and the person who took our payment didn't seem at all bothered! We won't be back!

A first for my mom and me, and what a treat! In every sense of the word! Refined, delicious, and generous cuisine! Just like the owners of this lovely establishment! We had a wonderful time and are eagerly awaiting the opening of the second terrace for warmer weather! With a breathtaking view to boot! We'll be back for the new menu starting April 1st 😉☀️🙏

Update to my previous review with one less star because I didn't appreciate being assigned a table that was barely large enough for a small dining set, near the entrance hall, with drafts every time the door opened, even though the restaurant was almost empty (March 14, 2026). Thank you so much for this wonderful evening. The welcome, the service provided by Victor, and the meal were excellent. Thank you to the whole team (July 2023).

A very warm welcome, carefully prepared cuisine and decor, and a cozy atmosphere. Ideally located on the banks of the Sèvre river. The daily menu is reasonably priced. We hadn't been before, but we'll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely time for the three of us 😊

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. However, you should know that dogs are not allowed in their establishment. This was a first for me, but it's their choice, and that's final. However, we had a rather surprising experience: we had reserved a table, clearly stating that my Staffordshire Bull Terrier would be there (as we were just passing through the area; otherwise, I never bring him). Dog accepted! Upon arrival, the dog was refused! Feeling very uncomfortable, I almost ended up standing in the rain with my dog. The waitress or manager wouldn't budge, despite our explanations which demonstrated their inconsistency. Finally, the dog was accepted, but only reluctantly. A lot of awkwardness for nothing; they certainly don't want to lose a table of 11... ;) Their rules should be clear, and they need to coordinate their efforts to avoid such inconsistency. We would gladly have chosen another establishment; we are respectful! The excuse given was dirt and allergies to dog hair. Regarding the fur, I can understand the medical concern, but a Staffordshire Bull Terrier has very short fur, which considerably limits any potential problems, especially since the proportion of people affected is minimal. In this case, it would have been sensible to ask the only two nearby tables if the customers were allergic, wouldn't it? This wasn't done. So, I found the excuse a bit flimsy. On the other hand, the dirt is unacceptable! My dog ​​is perfectly groomed, and that's obvious at first glance; he stayed silently under the table. He never put his nose near my plate, nor did he jump on the bench, because he's well-trained and used to it. So, well… To find dirt, you usually have to visit the kitchens and restrooms, when it's not the customers themselves who suffer from a lack of hygiene, which is very common!… There you have it… I found it unacceptable, and I'm pointing it out without anger or resentment. It seems to me that in their restaurant, they don't check their customers' hygiene, but prefer to blame the dogs. As if our shoes weren't like their paws! Please (for the sake of other customers) be more consistent and less clumsy in the future. And please consider the hygiene of your premises!
