La Casbah sur Noirmoutier-En-L'Ile

We had lunch here last year. Back again this year, it's just as good. I had a Creole salad and my wife had the shrimp stew; both dishes were excellent. Having a peaceful lunch on a Sunday is wonderful.

A small, cozy restaurant tucked away on a street in the town center. A lovely, tempting, and original menu at very reasonable prices. The pork and cuttlefish skewers with small local Noirmoutier potatoes and a cabbage fondue... are to die for... tender and perfectly spiced. No doubt there's a chef in the kitchen, and they're good. The service is friendly and welcoming, with a smile. In short, a great find far from the tourist traps. Go without hesitation.

A rare gem! The couscous and tagine were delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed them, thank you for this discovery.

Very good restaurant, deserved 4.5 stars. Delicious food, not well-known to tourists, so it's quiet. I highly recommend it. A big plus is that you're immediately greeted by a four-legged waiter, a little cat. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey.

Delicious couscous and tagines, beautifully presented. Plenty of saucy side dishes. A welcome treat after a hot day.
