La Cascade sur Salles-La-Source

Impossible to park near the restaurant; we had to find a spot on the main road between Rodez and Marcillac. There was a long wait before being served. The upstairs dining room needs updating, and the decor is outdated. The food was tasty and good.

Stunning food where you need to book in advance along with a wide range of drinks. A local French family invited us to their favourite restaurant and I can highly recommend it.

Original menu, excellent and impeccable service which put up with my grumpy grandpa... he quickly stopped grumbling when he saw his plate!

Second time at Cascade restaurant in Salles-la-Source, and just as satisfied as before. The dishes are beautiful, sophisticated, and delicious. The presentation is impeccable, the flavors are spot-on, and the experience is truly enjoyable. The service is top-notch from start to finish. 👌🏾 A place I happily recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family lunch on the terrace one weekend in April in the beautiful village of Salles-la-Source! From the house aperitif to the €30 set menu, including the appetizers and local wines, we had a wonderful time! A visit with friends. A very good meal with delicious flavors and a lovely wine pairing suggestion. Pleasant service once the busy period had subsided. A minor drawback regarding the service that evening… it took 1 hour and 15 minutes between ordering and the first course being served, especially considering we had a baby at the table… Fortunately, the rest of the meal went smoothly! There was a large table next to us, which didn't help, so we'll be back for another visit.

Bravo! I was initially hesitant about the surprise menu, but I'm so glad I went for it! A pure delight for both the palate and the eyes. A superb discovery of local wines, complemented by pleasant and professional service. I'll definitely stop by again on my next trip to Aveyron. Thank you!

Everything was perfect. The place is lovely, with a small rooftop terrace for enjoying an aperitif at sunset and a tastefully decorated dining room. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and plentiful, yet reasonably priced for the quality offered. We LOVED it!
