Very good place.
The owner speaks also an excellent English and helps in choosing the food.

The menu is affordable, varied, and delicious: at €33, the dishes are truly excellent quality and meticulously prepared, whether meat or fish, top-notch! 👌 As for the service, it was impeccable: discreet, friendly, and patient, as our large table stayed well past the usual hours this Saturday lunchtime. So, a thousand thanks again, and see you soon!

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant.
The staff was very friendly.
The service was quick, even though the dining room and terrace were full.
The whiting, served with a sauce and seasonal vegetables, was excellent!
The dessert (a gourmet coffee and chocolate cake) was equally delicious.
We highly recommend this establishment to visitors to Caen.

For our first visit (September 2026), La Casinière was fantastic. The welcome was very friendly, the interior was well-appointed, bright, and clean. You can have a meal or an aperitif on the terrace. The dishes were delicious and served quickly. We will definitely be back! Thank you and see you soon...

A table for 5, a special occasion, a beautiful Saturday, and THE restaurant! Guided by the reviews, which I wholeheartedly agree with today. Thank you :)
