We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant.
The staff was very friendly.
The service was quick, even though the dining room and terrace were full.
The whiting, served with a sauce and seasonal vegetables, was excellent!
The dessert (a gourmet coffee and chocolate cake) was equally delicious.
We highly recommend this establishment to visitors to Caen.

For our first visit (September 2026), La Casinière was fantastic. The welcome was very friendly, the interior was well-appointed, bright, and clean. You can have a meal or an aperitif on the terrace. The dishes were delicious and served quickly. We will definitely be back! Thank you and see you soon...

So, how can I put it… I love discovering new restaurants in Caen.
And then I stumbled upon this restaurant which, at first glance, didn't look like much. I admit I relied on the reviews, and I absolutely don't regret it!
It's a true explosion of flavors for the taste buds. The chef of this restaurant is just like his dishes: he knows how to perfectly combine fresh, seasonal vegetables with great finesse.
Everything was excellent, from start to finish. So, if I have one piece of advice to give you: go for it, you won't be disappointed!

We dined here last night and it was a flawless experience. The dishes are fully respectful of local culinary tradition, but with a touch of depth that highlights the chef's skill.
The atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, and pleasantly informal: you immediately feel at home without sacrificing quality. Attentive service and exquisite food. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
