La Casita sur Antibes

A wonderful discovery in the heart of Old Antibes! We had a fantastic time at Le Coq Gallois. The food was generous and flavorful, with a delicious aioli, perfectly cooked fish, a very generous salad, and a delightful signature dessert to end the meal on a high note. 😋 Beyond the food itself, we particularly appreciated the warm welcome, the attentive service, and all the little touches that made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere. A great restaurant to discover in Antibes! ✨ Well done to the whole team and thank you for this lovely culinary interlude. 💙

Le Coq Gallois offers plenty of outdoor seating, and if it's full, the waiters do everything they can to get you a table. After just a few minutes, we had a table and ordered mussels with fries, a salad with goat cheese, and two desserts (chocolate mousse and something with strawberries, cream, and sorbet). The mussels were fresh and, as usual, came in a pot with baguette for dipping the sauce. The goat cheese salad on toasted bread had a very tasty vinaigrette. Both were delicious and a good size. The mousse could perhaps be improved, but the strawberry dessert was truly fantastic. The waiters were always friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening and would definitely come back.

Not REALLY French cuisine. It was pleasant, nothing terrible about it but the food (which is what you go for!) was very ordinary. E.g: in the ‘moules’ I couldn’t taste garlic, thyme, butter or wine (there may have been a teaspoon of wine in there) and not a trace of parsley. The moules weren’t particularly tasty either, I think the best ‘bouchot’ are only available July/aug. All edible, all fine, just no reason to return.

It was very enjoyable. We had breakfast this morning, everything was very fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent.

Lovely restaurant with excellent food and a big drinks menu! The staff were really nice. Service was friendly and quick. Can definitely reccomend the lemon risotto, it was delicious 😋

We discovered Le Coq Gallois by chance as a family. It has a beautiful location in the heart of Antibes' old town. The food is authentic and delicious, all homemade! We had a lovely evening as a family. Our waiter, Yaz, made the experience even more enjoyable with his professionalism and cheerfulness. A big thank you to him, we'll be back!
