A restaurant just the way we like it

There were five of us for lunch on March 2nd, and frankly, it's been a long time since I've been so satisfied. Superb, home-style cooking, with slow-cooked dishes (beef cheek and others). The starters were served buffet-style, with unlimited servings, but on each table. The starters were very good; be careful if you eat too many, you won't be able to eat the rest! The prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and engaging with the waiter (ah, the experience of mature people! 😁). No need to ask for bread or water, he sees everything. Honestly, you won't be disappointed. First time, certainly not the last. The only slight drawback—and yes, there were so many dishes—was that the table was a bit small, so we sat at the next table. Go without hesitation, it's absolutely fantastic!

As its name suggests, Le Bouchon de la Cave is a true Lyonnais bouchon, with its festive, warm atmosphere and generous, traditional cuisine, exemplified by the pike quenelle with crayfish sauce. A minor drawback, however, was the praline tartlet, whose overcooked base was difficult to cut even with a knife.
