A restaurant with a pleasant outdoor seating area near the town's theater square. The menu is typically French brasserie, with options for all tastes and a variety of dishes. Brilliant and helpful service, and the water vapor from the umbrellas provides refreshment even on the hottest heatwave days—a great solution. The only downside is the large number of wasps and insects that circulate around the tables during the meal; if you're scared, they can be quite a nuisance... Overall a positive experience, highly recommended! Slightly high value for money.

On Friday at lunchtime, on our way back from vacation, we discovered this brasserie. We had the €20 set menu (main course + dessert), and it was delicious! Homemade food, beautifully presented. A lovely terrace (with misting fans, which were perfect in this heat). I think this will be our go-to lunch spot on our next vacation.

This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant, and I want to emphasize the kindness and attentiveness of the servers. The first time was with a friend, one evening in May/June, on the shaded terrace. I opted for the beef tartare and the citrus macaron for dessert. The presentation and taste were both excellent. My partner wanted to try the restaurant, so I went back last night. This time we were inside, the weather was pleasant, we weren't too hot, and the servers were smiling and attentive. I chose the €32 set menu, selecting the egg, pork, and the dessert of the day (mango, apricot, and passion fruit panna cotta): a real treat! I would gladly return! The dishes are carefully prepared and tastefully presented.

Top-notch service from the young waiters, perfectly supervised by the owner. Classic cuisine with plenty of choice. Varied desserts, including a gourmet coffee and a pasteis de nata that are out of the ordinary. Well worth a visit.

We ate on the terrace (the misting system was very welcome in this summer heat), enjoyed an exceptional wine list, and had a team that went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant time with friends or in a professional setting! A lovely spot in the heart of Bourg-en-Bresse, shaded by awnings. Delicious, home-style cooking made with fresh, high-quality ingredients – flavorful and generous portions. The steak tartare was excellent, as was the strawberry verrine. The service was efficient, attentive, and friendly. Go without hesitation! Also very pleasant for breakfast.

A wonderful discovery! We came for lunch today for our wedding anniversary. We will gladly return for the excellent food and the quick, attentive, and seamless service. We both ordered the "La Scène" menu, and everything was perfect. The presentation, the cooking, the flavors, and the portions were all excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Cheese gougère and a carafe of water were served as soon as we sat down. Beef tataki (2) Spinach risotto with prawns Guinea fowl prepared two ways with vegetables Liège coffee Blood orange and clementine sorbet All accompanied by an IPA beer and a glass of Viognier white wine Two excellent espressos The bread was very good. We were seated in the bar area because we didn't want to sit on the terrace due to the smokers. However, we learned that dogs are welcome on the terrace. Thank you, and we provided them with a bowl of water. The only downside in the bar area is the constant coming and going of the servers to the terrace, and I admit I broke out in a cold sweat several times. They're agile, but it's... We won't even mention the customers, who are unbelievable—you're not responsible for that. This won't dampen our desire to return; we've found a better spot than near the window if it's summer. Otherwise, we'll try the dining room, which isn't open during the summer. Perfectly understandable.
