Quite expensive, but everything is homemade.
Except for the chocolate fondant, which came in a cardboard box and was left in the trash.

The fish of the day (pollock) was very good, perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, accompanied by a simple but flavorful purée. The cooking was expertly executed. The tiramisu was light and very successful. A pleasant surprise overall.

Arrived at 4 pm without prior notice. We were immediately warmly welcomed and seated in the shade on a secluded terrace.
The seasonal dishes and desserts were delicious, and the service was very pleasant. There was very little wait.

Friendly restaurant with exceptionally pleasant and competent staff.
I made a poor choice of dish, but the Caesar salads were greatly appreciated.
A minor drawback: the toilets are poorly located. But overall, the staff is excellent and the restaurant is worth a visit.

We arrived as a group of five on a Sunday without a reservation and weren't kept waiting. The service was quick and helpful.
See the photos... the beef, fish, and wild boar dishes, as well as the delicious burgers 😋 The Royal Wedding Spritz is a must-try!
However, the desserts were bland (the chocolate fondant and tiramisu). The young staff were excellent.

Great experience at La Cave des Rois. The restaurant is ideally located right next to the Château de Chambord, which is very convenient after a visit.
The prices are reasonable and the burgers were really delicious. There was a bit of a wait, but that's perfectly understandable given how busy it was when we went.
A great place to remember if you're in the area!
