Pleasant welcome. Above all, remember not to park in the car park opposite, even just to drop off your luggage, because in less than 10 minutes we got a parking ticket; the hotel warned us about this as soon as we arrived.

Booking.com subscribers PLEASE NOTE! I stayed here on February 24th. That was a deliberate choice. I was kindly welcomed by an elderly lady who showed me to a parking spot due to the Wednesday morning market. I was here to enjoy a nice meal and review a local restaurant. I had read the reviews and knew what to expect. I found the room fine, though I did have to search for a power outlet for my PC for a bit. Upon returning from my delicious dinner, I found a Post-it note on my door asking me to report to reception. There, Francois told me that he had not received the payment from Booking.com. In good faith, I paid again, and upon returning home, it turned out that it had indeed been debited from my credit card. I have now been in contact with Francois for over a week to get this refunded. To date, without success. If he does pay back quickly, I will report it here. It is now March 14th and I have tried to contact him multiple times a week, and Francois keeps asking for bank statements and reservation numbers etc. I have sent them repeatedly but still have not received payment. On Monday, I will contact Booking.com Customer Service to report this. I really tried to resolve this amicably.
Update April 24. Spoke with Booking.com customer service and sent multiple emails and reminders. B.com has created a file, but a partner is responsible for the payments. I am not getting any response from B.com and can kiss my money goodbye. So do not book through Booking.com, but just with Francois, and then you will also get a good price.
