La Charbonnette sur Onzain

Excellent cuisine with, among other things, a selection of reasonably priced menus: very, very good value for money. The welcome and service were very friendly. Manu, the owner, was incredibly kind and gave excellent wine recommendations; he even gave us some addresses of local winemakers. We had a wonderful time.

Nice central location, a bit pricey

La Charbonnette was a great discovery this summer. The kitchen is efficient and precise. The cooking is superb. The sauces are irresistible. As for the setting, the small village is very peaceful when you're on the terrace. The service is attentive, and everything is done to ensure you have a pleasant experience. The wine list is simple but adequate. The price is very reasonable for this type of meal (a full menu is around 45 euros, with supplements for aperitifs, wines, cheeses, and tea). We were very happy when it came time to pay. I'll definitely be back!

A wonderful discovery during a weekend in the Loire Valley. This restaurant, located in the heart of the square of a charming little village, offers a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very kind, attentive, and helpful. Special mention also goes to the cuisine, which is simple yet delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
