La Chaudanne sur Morzine

Excellent restaurant, beautiful decor, impeccable service. Generous portions with some Savoyard dishes that differ from those found in other nearby restaurants. The only downside is the final bill: a bit high. We still recommend it, however, as other highly rated restaurants in the area charge similar prices.

Great Restaurant, delicious cuisine, friendly staff.

We had a wonderful time at La Chaudanne restaurant. The welcome was particularly warm and friendly. A huge thank you from our four-legged friends: dogs are not only welcome, but truly pampered with lots of attention and gentleness! 🐶✨ And to finish off the meal perfectly, the Coupe Chaudanne is absolutely worth trying! A real treat. We will definitely be back!

Excellent value for money. Very welcoming, even for large groups. Very good food and a fantastic daily menu at €23! I highly recommend it.

We went in as a group of 14 people. The waiter was very kind. The service is fast. And the prices are fair The food is very tasty. I recommend the chicken curry, the fillet and the lasagna. Overall a good and tasty experience

Delicious main courses and desserts for the six of us, served with a smile and kindness... Having eaten many Savoyard fondues, the mushroom one we had that day was the best in the region... And the little details of the service... that make all the difference, right down to the complimentary glass of liqueur... Bravo to the chef(s) and the entire service team... Overall, a very good restaurant, the fondue was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a shame the main course arrived too quickly, before we had time to finish our aperitif. But I highly recommend it :)

We returned to La Chaudanne because we know it well, even though it had been several years since our last visit. And we weren't disappointed. We received a warm welcome and were served with kindness and professionalism. The food was delicious. A feast for the eyes before the pleasure of the palate. It's a shame you're so far from us. We will be back.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Restaurant La Chaudanne in Morzine. The location is fantastic, especially if you're coming straight from the slopes – perfect for a relaxing break. The food was high quality, freshly prepared, and delicious. The regional specialties are particularly recommended. The portions were also generous. The service was friendly and attentive, although at times a little stressed due to the high volume of customers – which is understandable given the location. A bit more attention and speed would have been the icing on the cake. The ambiance is cozy and suits the alpine setting, but could be a bit more modern in some areas. All in all, a very solid restaurant with good food and a great location – we'll definitely be back!
