Bec Jaune Brewery
Morzine
30/03/2026: Very good food, amazing place , the beetroot ice cream must try
30/03/2026: This restaurant is a hidden amazing gem of Morzine. The food is incredible - and a very welcome break from the traditional mountain food of a French ski resort. Being from NYC / London, this food could easily be a successful restaurant in a major global city. Service was great and super helpful to squeeze us in. Ambiance and vibe were excellent. Everything was delicious - but if you feel like you desperately need some vegetables for a break from the other Morzine restaurants - order the broccoli and the carrots!

La Rotonde
Morzine
25/03/2026: Absolutely world class! From start to finish. The service was faultless the food was audacious, fun and full of flavour. We ate pretty much everything on the menu and couldn’t find a complaint. Make sure to ask for the secret menu upon arrival as they have a whole world of other menu options. It was my birthday on the day we went and they made it the best birthday ever, bringing out a sparkler the size of a mini golf club, plugged into a single profiterole. Best birthday ever
23/03/2026: This is now my fourth time eating at La Rotonde over the years and each time has been a very enjoyable experience. This time I brought a group of 9 mots who had never been and we all had a very good time. Food was excellent and the staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Le Lodge
Morzine
22/03/2026: AVORIAZ and especially the AMARA residence offers a unique and unforgettable experience!
21/03/2026: An amazing location, perfect for ski in and out. Heated ski lockers underneath building and straight out onto slopes.
We upgraded our room for a mountain view and we're really pleased with our apartment. Fabulous views and away from any noise below. Quiet area of resort though, so didn't expect this to be much of a problem, however the views were incredible.
Accomodation was great and very clean.
Reception staff were very helpful and a nice touch being able to order croissants/ bakery bits night before.
Skied with ESF ski school who were very good.
Walk into the main town was approx 15 mins away. Cafes nearby though.
Nearby shops could deliver food to apartment if required.
Drove to resort and parking underneath the hotel made our arrival and departure very easy, trolleys available to load luggage up, to take to apartment. Lots of parking spaces. Did need snow chains to exit resort on last day.
Picked up online ordering of ski passes in hotel reception. Everything seemed to be covered to make our stay very straightforward.
Spa, though was a disappointment. Outside saunas did not work during our week and only 1 of the steam rooms.
Swimming pool was lovely though.

Auberge des terres Maudites - Chez Layan-ne
Morzine
01/03/2026: A very pleasant person, very generous and excellent food!
The ice cream sundaes are exquisite.
28/02/2026: All the food that was eaten here was really nice. Outside these is a nice terrace that gets some nice sun until it falls behind the mountain. Friendly staff and like I said nice meals.
There is a dog that walk around the terrace during the day and was inside (not during dinner time)

Le Clin D'Oeil
Morzine
24/03/2026: The cheese fondue was very tasty and certainly sufficient. There could be more variety in the charcuterie, though; it is mainly salami.
The spare ribs were not as good; they were quite dry.
15/03/2026: I barely remember, I was drunk, but it was great! The raclette cheese was exceptional, and the lemon cheesecake was incredible 😍

Les Côtes
Morzine
04/04/2026: Everything was perfect. Super friendly hosts. Every wish was granted. The private shuttle to the lifts was fantastic. The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel. Ski passes can be purchased on-site at a discounted rate.
The whirlpool, swimming pool, table tennis, billiards, etc., provide plenty of variety.
We would have preferred an earlier breakfast (currently served from 8-11).
Otherwise, everything was excellent!
04/04/2026: A fabulous family run hotel. Immaculate, well managed, super friendly staff and in a great location with everything you could possibly need.

La Chaudanne
Morzine
12/04/2026: Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Restaurant La Chaudanne in Morzine. The location is fantastic, especially if you're coming straight from the slopes – perfect for a relaxing break.
The food was high quality, freshly prepared, and delicious. The regional specialties are particularly recommended. The portions were also generous.
The service was friendly and attentive, although at times a little stressed due to the high volume of customers – which is understandable given the location. A bit more attention and speed would have been the icing on the cake.
The ambiance is cozy and suits the alpine setting, but could be a bit more modern in some areas.
All in all, a very solid restaurant with good food and a great location – we'll definitely be back!
09/04/2026: The best fondue we've ever had, by far, with excellent service. However, the vegetarian/vegan tart, which looked very promising, wasn't well made; the vegetarian in our group was very disappointed. The dish could easily have been better executed. The rest of us were very satisfied with our meals.

16/03/2026: Great places to relax and eat well. I recommend it!
04/03/2026: We ate at La Flamme restaurant almost all last week, and we were delighted. The dishes are delicious, everything is homemade, and the desserts are just as delectable. The staff is extremely friendly. Go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed!

La Reserve
Morzine
07/04/2026: A truly wonderful evening. The welcome was warm and professional. The service was also very attentive and pleasant. The leg of lamb and the truffle fondue were delicious. We look forward to returning.
31/03/2026: The restaurant is very good, the food is excellent, it's true, but the manager is absolutely terrible (and it's not the first time he's disappointed us). With a bill of over €500 for four people, we were practically thrown out because the manager needed our table for a second seating (which he hadn't announced). Thanks to the waitresses/waitresses for their kindness; you must have experienced the same thing we did that evening, to the point of being told we hadn't received our jackets quickly enough. I left feeling disgusted; it's a shame.

L'alpage de Seraussaix
Morzine
27/03/2026: Excellent value for money, with a delicious cheese board and a wonderfully comforting hot chocolate.
I highly recommend it!
22/03/2026: It absolutely astounds me to see the awful videos and photos of these poor cows imprisoned in stalls and allowed no movement whatsoever, yet people ❤️ & like them! Perhaps the ❤️’s & Likers should spend the winter season with that nasty metal frame around their neck while chained to guarantee no movement. And yes I know this is due to snow outside & the cows can’t graze. No need to keep them locked up like that though, how about a barn they could at least move around in????
Response to reply below. I was giving 1 star to the way the cows are tethered up in those metal neck harnesses. I’ve now upped it to 3 in response to your comment. I know a fair bit about how farming works, grew up in Cornwall and had a lot to do with farms, mostly dairy. As for giving 1 star I give what I feel, you can see my reviews and I’ve never seen a business promoting itself with photos & videos of cows locked up like this, so I haven’t given any other mountain farms 1 star, yet. Where I grew up the cows were not locked up like this! I know this is common practice in these environments but it doesn’t have to be. You point out they are outside May-October so that’s 6 months chained up like the photo & video then, unless I am missing something. As for the excuse why they can’t move around, you’ve answered it yourself, “cost of the buildings” so the cows endure 6 months locked up like this so the costs are kept down, exactly my point. But as I wrote, I have upped the stars. I hope you can take on board that these cows are living creatures, have done no wrong but the system feels it is perfectly acceptable to imprison them like this……. To save money🤐
