At La Chaumière, you know exactly what you’re walking into. Simple concept, no pretence, and the ingredients speak for themselves.
The garlic bread was a standout. Thick slices straight from the fire with a rich garlic spread …still thinking about it. I can taste it still.
We had the Irish côte de bœuf for main. Easily one of the most succulent pieces of meat. Perfectly cooked, fat beautifully rendered. Served with a fresh green salad and baked potatoes from under the ashes. The potato, with sour cream and scallions, was a star on its own.
Finished with a classic chocolate mousse.
A genuinely great experience. Simple, honest food done very well!

La Chaumière is a restaurant that truly lives up to its reputation.
A perfect experience from start to finish.
The meat was simply exceptional: tender, flavorful, cooked exactly as requested, and perfectly seasoned.
You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each dish.
The service was on par with the cuisine: professional, attentive, efficient, and personalized.
We will gladly return and recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The meat was grilled to perfection, cooked to perfection, and the ingredients were fresh. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. Special mention for the ribeye steak. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!
