La Chaumiere sur Villefranche-Sur-Mer

A paradise for those who love wood-fired meat! The appetizers were excellent, as were the desserts. We had ordered rare meat, and one of the dishes was overcooked, but they replaced it. However, the size of the potato served as a side dish is unacceptable, especially since it's the only side dish! The service is efficient but not particularly friendly. There are a lot of tables in a small space, so it's very noisy. It's expensive, clearly, but the food is good and very generous (except for the side dishes, of course).

La Chaumière is the place where you rediscover what real food truly means. Unique place, very cosy, good staff. Food is amazing but inconsistent. Ive recieved rare(like really rare) when ordering medium rare and well done when ordering medium-well. Sizes of steakes are very different aswell and last time my 90 eur steak was pretty dissapointing, the sirloin of my T-bone was almost non existent. However i will go again it remains a special treat to go here, i will go for the cote de boeuf though.

Incredible place, really nice atmosphere and overall the place looks very cool, there is such a homely vibe, I can safely give it 10/10 for the atmosphere, but this is not the most important thing. MEAT is simply incredible, very tasty, juicy, cooked just perfectly, because what are you waiting for, a cozy place where you will be fed very tasty, I can safely recommend it and I will definitely come back myself and more than once
