Simple, beautiful and good, what more could you ask for?

A superb discovery! This establishment was recently taken over by Alain (formerly of Le Gamin de Poissy). He made a very wise decision; he took over the restaurant, of course, but also retained most of the staff from the previous team, including an excellent chef of Senegalese origin who perfectly masters cooking techniques and makes everything (at least everything I ate at lunchtime today) from scratch! That deserves special mention! His homemade foie gras was also divine, as was his homemade gingerbread, and the accompanying chutney was equally perfect. The lamb chops exuded quality and provenance... And the raspberry and verbena tart was also perfect. I should add that the "Charles Mignon" Premier Cru champagne was excellent, with unbeatable value for money (€10 a glass), not to mention the Brouilly, served chilled but not ice-cold as is often the case! In short, I wish this very promising team all the best! Bravo! See you soon!

La Chaumière: excellence that delights the palates of discerning gourmets. After all this time, I realize how much I've missed Saturday lunches. What a joy to return to this warm and inviting place, with its slightly old-fashioned, yet so comforting decor! In a convivial atmosphere, Céline, Cristina, and Alain move about the dining room, affable and efficient, offering guests a perfectly orchestrated ballet of succulent dishes. In the kitchen, Manu and his team create exceptional dishes and menus, combining passion and talent every day. A limited à la carte selection (or rather, a chalkboard menu) is regularly updated to ensure excellence. Meats, fish, vegetables, and fruits are rigorously selected by the Chef, who favors local sourcing (primarily local products) and is uncompromising on the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The meats served, such as the hanger steak, are exceptionally tender; the fish, like the hake or sea bream fillet, is delicate and flavorful; the various homemade sauces and seasonings expertly enhance the dishes; and the finely cut vegetables and fruits, cooked or raw, are artfully arranged on the plates, adorning them with cheerful colors and transforming them into veritable works of art. For example, the white asparagus presented in rounds and interspersed with endive strands captivated me; the baby potatoes, resembling Tahitian pearls, dazzled me; the pan-fried eggplant and zucchini, along with the baby spinach, made me swoon with pleasure... For dessert, the clementine soup, the mixed exotic fruit soup, or the famous Fontainebleau with a red fruit coulis delighted my taste buds. Manu's cuisine is refined, flavorful, fragrant, and light. Come and discover it if you haven't already, because at La Chaumière, regulars don't keep to themselves; they enjoy sharing.

A very nice place, the food is good and well-prepared; it's as beautiful as it is delicious. The lunch menu is very well-balanced, and you leave already thinking about coming back 😉

We've loved this place for several years now. I was about to make a reservation and then I stumbled upon Kes Acis, so I took advantage of it. Kudos to the kitchen for its consistently creative and innovative menu. Kudos to the team! Kudos to the new management!
