We ate here last night and it was some of the most delicious food we've ever had. The filet was excellent, the side dishes were incredibly tasty, the sauces amazing, and the dessert was divine. We would have loved to order everything again and never stop! ☺️ The service was also top-notch and very, very friendly!

At La Chaumière, they're practically perfect: top-notch service, a superb setting, and above all, an exceptional rib steak, probably the best in Strasbourg! The appetizers and desserts? Equally fabulous. A must-try! Thank you so much and see you soon!

A charming little restaurant, somewhere between fine dining and a traditional Alsatian wine bar (Winstub). There's a paid covered parking lot practically next door. The interior is welcoming. There's an oven in the dining room for cooking meats, but it wasn't working. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The menu consists of about ten dishes, which is a sign of quality. The prices are reasonable (we booked through The Fork, so we got an additional 30% off). The sea bass fillet with eggplant caviar was excellent, as was the beef fillet. An excellent place that's a bit off the beaten path.

Excellent experience! The meat was cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the wine paired perfectly with the dinner. The service was very friendly, professional, and attentive.

The vegan dish is priced the same as the butcher's cut (or duck breast or cordon bleu) when it's literally a mushroom risotto, I really don't understand...

We had dinner here with our company, a group of about 20 people. Despite our somewhat chaotic orders, the staff was very attentive, friendly, and professional. They handled everything calmly and efficiently. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was truly outstanding, and we felt very welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant, clean, and cozy. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

24/05/2026: The restaurant is simply magnificent, both in terms of the quality of the service and welcome, and the quality of the dishes offered. As this was my second visit, I returned eager to discover more flavors and try more specialties. However, I felt that the dish “Black rice, squid tagliatelle, and parsley emulsion” could have been improved to be more balanced. I felt its price was a bit high for the culinary experience it offered. Furthermore, the amount of squid wasn't enough to make it a true main course; it was more like a side dish. In my opinion, the dish would benefit from some refinement, either by replacing the squid with meat or by adding another ingredient that would bring more richness and enjoyment to the palate, while also making it more substantial and memorable. Despite this, I will definitely return to continue exploring the restaurant's wonderful flavors, and I hope to find this dish in an even better version on my next visit. As for the desserts, they deserve a separate mention; they are truly exceptional.
