La Chavanne sur Les Houches

Very nice restaurant with a superb view. A great welcome, perfect service and delicious dishes. What more could you ask for...... I recommend this place with my eyes closed. Don't hesitate to stop there when returning from a walk.

I was in this place just to have a coffee (and a croissant at the same time). I was very satisfied: the staff is very friendly and the terrace overlooks the Mon Blanc. The establishment is located in the center of the village.

One of the few restaurants in Les Houches where you can get eat pretty much anytime afternoon and evening. Food was really good, great beer selection, and busy but friendly staff.

We recently visited La Chavanne and enjoyed Spritzes on the terrace. The Spritzes were generously served and delicious. The price of €8.50 per Spritz is justified for the quality offered. We highly recommend it!

Lovely place with a great, fresh, exciting menu 😋

Lunch today in Les Houches between St Gervais and Chamonix. The seemingly endless stream of serious climbers are a reminder that this is serious climbing country with Mont Blanc towering above. We ate outside under a huge canopy that kept the strong sun away but it was still lovely and warm. Our food was really good and other tables were having some great looking plates. The two girls were run off their feet but didn’t stop smiling for the whole three ours (!) that we occupied our table. 100% recommended.

We visited on the back of reading previous reviews. They were right, the burgers were fantastic. Good spot for people watching!!
