I would like to thank the owner and the blonde employee for their warm welcome, wonderful service, and extreme kindness ❤️ I arrived just minutes before closing time, and I have a nut allergy, so they made a special offer for me and removed the nuts from the recipe. The lentil soup was delicious, and the naan bread was absolutely delicious 😋😋😋
20/08/2026: We usually go to the Annapurna Indian restaurant in Chamonix, but this was a disappointment.
The outdoor tables, with the road so close, were a real nuisance! And as for the chicken biryani, two measly pieces of chicken the size of a walnut in a large bowl of rice—frankly, it's a slap in the face to the customers.

13/07/2026: Love this place as a stop during a day of skiing in the mountains. It’s perfect for a quick break to have a drink, eat something, and continue skiing. They have some good food options, although don’t expect a gourmet meal — it’s more like simple food served in a box.
The view while eating is incredible. The only downside is the toilet, as there is one available but it does not have a flush system.
05/04/2026: No need to lounge on a terrace, a perfect day: when you can combine good food, good music, and peace and quiet!!!

05/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised! Good daily special for €19 and draft beer for €5. Terrace overlooking the mountain range. As a native of the valley, I know that mountain restaurants don't have a very positive reputation. But this place was good and reasonably priced, so I recommend it!
30/03/2026: Very expensive, average (at best) food, slow and fairly grumpy service. Burger was ok, but not for €26, tartiflette also ok but again, only average and poor for the price, salads were really bad, probably worst Cesar salad I've ever had and for €21! Reckon the paltry ingredients cost less than €1. Nice views.

09/08/2024: No hay mucha comida - lugares en el pueblo de Les Houches, pero tuvimos suerte - ambiente muy amable, súper - agradable señora cuidando de nosotros - empezando por gin - tónicos y terminando - con comida bastante sabrosa.
Especialmente nos gustaron los calamares (incluso tomamos porciones adicionales), pero la carne como plato principal estaba bastante bien.
Recomendado!
31/07/2024: La comida era increíble, el personal super amable y un ambiente fabuloso. La terraza recibe el sol de finales de verano, que era muy bienvenido. El calamar de sal y pimienta es posiblemente el mejor que he comido. Definitivamente volveré.

01/07/2026: I stayed here with my husband and 14yr old son to start the TMB. An absolutely charming spot with excellent food, service and was a very quick (and free!) train into Chamonix. We couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast was some of the best we had on the hike. Highly recommend!
24/05/2026: Stayed here with my wee son for a little mountain weekend and we had a fantastic experience. Beautiful mountain views, very comfortable room, great restaurant, and incredibly kind staff.
My son unfortunately got sick during the stay, and the team was genuinely caring and even helped us with towels for the drive back to Geneva, which I really appreciated.
I honestly don’t understand the 2-star rating - this place has everything you could want for a mountain stay, especially at this price point. We will definitely come back.
