La Cheneaudiere sur Colroy-La-Roche

We spent a weekend at La Chenaudiere. The rooms are clean and well decorated without too much artifice. The spa is good but the Nordic bath is really too small. Hot tub outside with a view of the forest but we quickly get crowded. Only one hammam, not very big, too bad. On the other hand, 4 saunas. Lots of places with beds and deckchairs, perhaps a little too much compared to the quickly filled hot tubs? The swimming pool on the first floor is much warmer than that on the second. Really great restaurants and bars, very warm decoration and very good meals. On the other hand, paper cups in the room, paper towels in the toilets of the reception and restaurants, for a 5 star and from an ecological point of view it's a real shame. Overall satisfied with our stay but it remains very expensive. At this price (400 euros base price for a standard room in the attic with skylight, breakfast and access to the spa), we have the right to expect something exceptional.

A surprise weekend offered by my partner, where the welcome and service immediately put us at ease. The Spa and the massages were very professional, I particularly recommend the floating bath, a real treat for well-being. The gourmet meal is completely up to par. Thank you for this moment. Very nice 5* establishment with very smiling, attentive and very helpful staff. A wonderful time spent relaxing for a few days in a relaxing setting filled with nature. All the services are very good with this natural and relaxing side that comes up all the time. I highly recommend this little haven of peace.

Perfect in every way! The reception, the Jardin de Calixte restaurant, the SPA... The surroundings are great for a nice hike and the people at reception kindly gave us a nice route. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The people in charge of catering are really lovely. I can't wait to come back to discover the new rooms and re-test the biotope :)

A nice break ***** modernized hotel while respecting the codes of the Alsatian Vosges, a mix of modernity and tradition, wood and greenery. Impeccable service, smiling staff, attentive, without stilted heaviness. My wife enjoyed a “timeless” time at the Spa. Dining at the Chefs' Table, a real taste journey taking into account lactose intolerance, offering real alternatives without simply removing the allergen, it's rare enough to be reported. We have already planned to return with our son for a double family birthday.

We've been here several times, we love this place. A total letting go. The water is deliciously warm, a feeling of swimming in silk.

A place that really makes you want to take a BREAK. The best are the dishes, the snack or even the breakfast which is local, right down to the bottle of water. Bravo for this research work.
