La Chocolaterie Maison Bonnaire sur Montpellier

It’s a must-see address in Montpellier and one of the truly best bakeries in the entire city! The only downside is that the prices are still quite high for things that are sometimes quite simple, but as they are very good, I always go there, but I go there much less often because of the prices. Therefore, Great address, but to be done more occasionally to appreciate it even more

The superlatives concerning Maison Bonnaire (rue St Guilhem) are too numerous to mention!! The welcome is always perfect, the staff always smiling, friendly, patient, professional, available, good advice and caring!!! Flawless from start to finish... The bread, the pastries, the éclairs, the mille-feuilles, the cakes... are to die for... If I have any advice to give to those who do not yet know this institution... Run, go and... Enjoy 👍👌🙏🎉🎉🎉

I regularly buy my salad, gratin or pizza from them and it's always very good, but the vegetable risotto is really delicious 😁😁

Edit: following the owner's response, and as I pointed out in my comment the error I reported was potentially on my part. I readjust my grade, to what I consider to be fair, apart from my error. Usually I am a fervent defender of Maison Bonnaire, but I had not had the opportunity to post my opinion on this establishment. Here I am sick and with my head in the clouds, I go to town to give my wife a gift (at pomme d'api), but the shop being closed I decide to make a detour to Maison Bonnaire. I have a Panuzzo and an apple turnover. It seems to me that the sandwich alone costs 5.90 while the slipper costs 2.80, if my calculations are correct: 8.70 should be the amount to pay. It's only on the way back that I realize the difference between what I paid and what I had to pay. 11.70-8.70 = 3rd. I didn't turn around because I was sick. But here I am, advising the seller to be careful or waiting for a response on the prices displayed in the store and the final prices. Maybe it was the illness that made me read the prices wrong. Notice a sandwich for 8.90, I would have thought twice before taking it. So here are 2 stars for today, 1 star less per euro extra. My friendships. Hoping to be able to go back to 5 stars with you. An error can happen, on either side :)

Amazing pastries! The service was great and the options really varied. The coffee is not coffee shop level but that is ok as it is a boulangerie.

Probably my favorite bakery in this city. You absolutely have to go there if you like éclairs and want to experience classics at this level. They are elegant and the tastes and textures are perfectly harmonized, a real pleasure. I've been going there for years to taste them and sometimes discover new recipes. I have also tried other pastries and cakes several times, always both delicate and delicious, the pastries are very good and careful. The staff have always been welcoming.

Je suis venue tester l'une de leur viennoisserie : le croissant Le service était rapide et agréable J'ai trouvé le croissant un peu cher et bon mais pas exceptionnel J'avais déjà testé à la maison bonnaire de St guillem et dans mes souvenirs il était meilleur
