Since moving 600km from Rennes, our only regret is no longer being able to go to this restaurant because in terms of service, quality, quantity and price, there's nothing better 👍🏻 Unfortunately for us, since May 2025 we've been looking for a restaurant of the same caliber as La Chope without much success 😅

La Chope is a good restaurant in Rennes. Although the prices are indeed too high for my taste, the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere are more than acceptable.

La Chope is the oldest brasserie in Rennes, dating back to 1936. The decor is superb and welcoming, with numerous photos of famous people who have passed through. Furthermore, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal from appetizer to dessert, with some very original dishes. The service was efficient and very friendly. Well done and thank you to the whole team.
