A little disappointed. Average food. Too much sauce in the dishes. Not many people in the restaurant. It's July, but still.

THe menu was good and varied, most of the food was top class but The moules (eaten by two of us were rather disappointing ( the sauce could have been dishwater tbh. ) but everyone else had good meals. The waiter was either very new and inexperienced/shy or rude, he didn’t seem to have been given an etiquette training (something I would have expected from a place like this). I would go again but I would not have moules.

A great time at La Chope! Excellent set menu, everything looked beautiful, and the service was very pleasant. We'll definitely be back on our next visit. A Lyonnais and his family passing through

A historic Rennes brasserie, decorated with vintage photos of artists and celebrities. It offers traditional French cuisine. Its interior is very beautiful and historic. I recommend the profiteroles for dessert.

This was absolutely the most delicious meal I had on this entire trip to France! The food was incredibly tasty, and my wife and I were both stuffed. A special thank you to all the friendly restaurant staff for being so tolerant of my mischievous daughter 🙏. She fell asleep as soon as we got back to the hotel. Tomorrow we're heading to our next city. Our half-day in Rennes was so rushed. Thank you La Chope for giving us such wonderful memories. I hope to return with my little one many years from now ❤️
