This is the best place I've had for classic french food. portion is a little small but definitely very enjoyable. The escargots and duck confit were very good.

Always a very warm welcome. The staff are smiling, welcoming, and attentive. The food is very good. Dishes without frills or unnecessary decorations, but the portions are generous and the ingredients are high quality.

A great experience at La Chopinette near Craponne! I had the burger: perfectly cooked, flavorful meat, and excellent homemade fries. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere; I highly recommend it.

What a lovely restaurant and what a great atmosphere! If you want to spend a pleasant and friendly time with simple, generously portioned dishes, go for it! The staff is lovely. There's a place to play pétanque and enjoy a drink with a sharing platter. They welcome dogs without any problem ::) They automatically bring them a large bowl of fresh water. A great find near my home with free parking in front or on the street behind. We've been there often, alone, with the children, or with friends, and we've always had a wonderful evening in a cheerful atmosphere.

03/05/2026: My review of this accommodation is based solely on the location and the room, as we neither ate at the restaurant nor had breakfast. The place itself is beautiful and exudes serenity. We returned from our evening out shortly after midnight (we had checked in beforehand), and we couldn't get in. We called reception, but it was closed, and the 24/7 emergency number didn't work either. Finally, we were able to enter the building through the back; the sliding doors worked without a card or code. The room is spacious, quite well laid out, and very clean, but the bed creaked loudly, and there was a very strong (almost nauseating) smell of sewage in the bathroom, especially in the morning. What a shame…
02/05/2026: Beautiful setting, magnificent park, just a few minutes' drive from Lyon. Very good food at the restaurant.
