Opinions varied somewhat depending on the dish and the diners... From "I loved everything" to "I'm still hungry" 😯 It's up to you to form your own opinion 😉

A must-try! The restaurant is ideally located in the old town of Le Mans, the cuisine is refined and delicious, the menu changes regularly with seasonal produce, the staff is attentive, and the prices are more than reasonable. I highly recommend it!

I booked the restaurant to celebrate my retirement. The welcome was friendly, the €29.90 menu was reasonable, the food was fresh and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside was the lack of a children's menu; this could have been mentioned when I made the reservation, which was a shame.

Superb gluten free food - second time we have eaten here, a major reason for coming back to Le Mans. Very tempted to have the taster menu next time.

We had the €43.90 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) for six people. We all loved our different dishes. The meat was cooked perfectly. The service was also impeccable. 5 stars well deserved for the food and service. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Le Bellifontain

29/09/2026: Excellent local cuisine. The chef puts a lot of effort into his dishes. I highly recommend the Corsican white wine—it's amazing! 😜
24/09/2026: A small, well-laid-out room, divided into several sections. Unique restrooms. Simple yet original cuisine, very good. Corsican wines also good. We received a warm welcome.

la maison du kebab

25/11/2025: The welcome was as cold as it was outside, the kebab was decent but nothing special, on the plus side the fries were crispy but the sauce pot was tiny…
15/11/2025: I've been eating there often for several years and I've never been disappointed. They definitely make the best tacos in Le Mans (I've tried quite a few) and the staff is very welcoming. I couldn't recommend a kebab place more highly!
