02/09/2023: Celebrated daughters birthday over lunch at this gorgeous place today followed by fabulous swim in the pristine crystal clear water after. Everything was impeccable - warm friendly greeting on arrival on this stylish understated elegant open-air waterside restaurant across three levels with endless views across Menton Bay to Italy , given best table on the house on the water’s edge, and our server was professional service with just the right dash of charm, knowledgeable about the chef, the wine list, the menu, ingredients and recommendations and some knowledge about the business history. To accompany our celebratory champagne , we had delicate fried baby calamari- so tender! Followed by delicious fresh turbot and the most amazing sauces and sides of broccolini, crunchy hand cut fries and artichokes. I’m 2 years since living here, head and shoulders the best meal I’ve had. Yes, pricey, but the location, the service, the beach and the views made this a memorable occasion and great place to celebrate a special day! I recommend!
