Just had a drink here. They could use some catering training. Firstly, it took a long time to be noticed even though we waved. When the drinks arrived the employee served the glasses with his fingers in the dirty glasses. And with his hand over the top of the glasses. The lemon in the 7-up even had the barcode sticker on it (not really fresh). The coffee tasted good.

Best Flemish carbonnade in Lille, and believe me I have something to compare it to. The plates are plentiful, each dish I was able to taste was delicious, and the desserts are not left out. The staff is really very friendly, it’s an address that puts a smile on your face. And for its location, the prices are correct. Be careful when leaving the toilet not to hurt a waiter 😂

We stopped there for a drink at 5 around 5 p.m. on a Saturday. Pleasant service, impeccable and very friendly with children. Not insignificant point, we were able to have a place in the shade because it was very hot.

I see quite divergent opinions below, but for my part, my first experience in this restaurant for lunch with family was quite pleasant, friendly and fast service. Very well placed in the city center right next to the Belfry, with a large terrace/parasols. The dishes are good and generous. The maroilles tart was delicious. No complaints. We came back and really enjoyed the cordon bleu, truly homemade, crispy with real slices of chicken and a good flowing cheese (not synthetic), dish with taste and flavor. We couldn't have done better at home.

We tried the Carbonade Flamande (cooked beef) and it was great. Dish came with salad and fries for €18. Vegetarian Poke was tasty, but a bit expensive as the dish was not so big. A good experience, and perfect location.

Le Restaurant Campanile

25/08/2024: We spent one night in this quiet hotel located near various restaurants. Clean and functional room. Nickel bathroom. Small downside: the mattress would need to be changed although that did not prevent us from having a good night's sleep. Small problem with the air conditioning, it is high time to change the box to turn on and regulate the air conditioning (completely broken), we had to use a pen to access the "on-off" buttons. Breakfast with quite a few choices. Very friendly staff.
30/07/2024: Stay for work, very functional and clean room but above all a warm welcome from extremely attentive and friendly staff, all orchestrated by a very competent manager.

28/08/2024: Very friendly place. The staff adapts and responds to requests. Hearty meal is excellent. Too bad we can't pay the bill using restaurant tickets (device broken)
