In a charming corner of the city, we indulged in a spectacular raclette and fondue! A journey through the flavors of finely selected and blended cheeses, accompanied by excellent wines. Perfect service... and then the toilet experience is a surprise not to be missed.

We visited on August 8, 2026 and had a very enjoyable evening. The team was friendly and attentive, and ordering in English was no problem at all, even though our French is limited. The menu is available digitally in a wide range of languages. Booking ahead proved worthwhile — from around 8 p.m. the restaurant was very busy. We had raclette for two, two bottles of water, a bottle of wine served in an ice bucket, and a dessert, all at a very fair price. Potatoes and pickled vegetables were brought again on request. One thing worth knowing: with the raclette grills and fondue pots in use, it does get noticeably warm inside. Perfect as usual 😉 and such a friendly team! For us, it was an aperitif, the daily special, and dessert. We had little cream puffs with fresh goat cheese to accompany the aperitif. The daily special was delicious and generous, and for dessert, we had crème brûlée with fresh goat cheese. Everything is homemade at La Cloche à Fromage, which explains the freshness and high quality of the products: a must-try that I'm happy to share 😉 Of course, the cheese selection is particularly well chosen by Thibault, the master cheesemaker. And if you'd like a cheese platter, he'll put together an assortment based on your preferences. A truly wonderful place in Strasbourg that I highly recommend!

They serve more salad with the famous quiche... which is a shame. Otherwise, everything else is great.

We went with the children and they loved it, "the best dinner of our lives".

A truly fantastic experience! La Cloche à Fromage is an absolute must for all cheese lovers. The impressive selection and quality of the various cheeses are exceptional – here you immediately realize that cheese isn't simply served, but celebrated with genuine passion. Both the fondue and the raclette were outstanding: aromatic, perfectly balanced, and of the highest quality. This is exactly what authentic cheese enjoyment should be. We would especially like to highlight the fantastic service. Attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and exceptionally friendly – ​​we felt perfectly at ease from the very first moment. The advice on cheese selection was just as convincing as the pleasant atmosphere.
