La Comedia sur Bourg-De-Peage

While on holiday in the area, our host recommended this restaurant. We were indeed delighted by the chef's cuisine. Everything was truly delicious. It's a restaurant with excellent value for money. If I lived nearby, I'd come every week! 🥰

Between the breathtaking view of the Isère River and the warm yet chic atmosphere, you could almost forget the essentials... and yet! The cuisine is a true delight: delicate, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth. Sharing our dishes allowed us to discover different flavors, all equally refined. It's a perfect harmony from appetizer to dessert, to the point where you wonder why this place is called a simple pizzeria, as that label is so reductive. The service is impeccable: spot-on recommendations, genuine kindness, and attentive service throughout the meal. A special mention for the pork pluma, which I highly recommend! If I'm ever back in the area, I'm already looking forward to trying the current menu.

Nice restaurant, nothing special. The pizzas are good but the crust is too thin, the gazpacho is excellent. The burger is very good. The mango and pineapple mille-feuille is decent, but the layers of puff pastry are too thick; it's cloying by the end. The service is disorganized and the smiles are forced. The tables are too close together, making it difficult to find a seat.

Is that a reason to eat in a devilish racket?

We had a wonderful time together; the service was perfect! And the pizzas were excellent.

I really appreciate this place for all the memories I have there, with precious moments shared with my family in a place offering a lovely view of the river and delicious typical dishes.

If you're passing through Bourg-de-Péage, this is definitely a restaurant you shouldn't miss; the food is truly excellent from appetizer to dessert.
