La Commanderie de Champarey sur Bourgoin-Jallieu

We only had lunch at this establishment; it's not a hotel. How can I put it, without being unpleasant, that we ate very well, however, the service didn't live up to the price. Let me explain: no tablecloth on the table, the wine was brought to the table without a taste, and you only got one glass... There were other things, details for some, but when the menu costs €50, you expect a certain presentation. If you're not too fussy, you'll eat very well.

The setting is lovely. The smiling waitress is very pleasant. The building is superb, and there are parking spaces available. The grounds must be magical in the summer. The only drawback might be a possible update to the decor.

Everything is just right, precise, and delicious from start to finish. A trustworthy restaurant that I warmly recommend and where I always return with great pleasure.

Spacious, comfortable, and quiet room. Very warm service. Delicious Valentine's Day meal and good breakfast. A makeover could be considered.
