La Confiance sur Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Delicious food & such warm & friendly staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the pork shoulder with Camembert sauce & mashed potatoes. The pork was to die for! Soo yummy. My family had the braised beef & mussels. All wonderful! I highly recommend!

Served by a fantastic waiter named Alan! Would do it again… Alan doesn't change a thing!

Pretty decent food in a very touristy area

Although I visited late, the service was smooth and the work was efficient. The staff were kind and I was pleased. The food was just okay. The leek appetizer was the best of the dishes I had. Thanks to the staff, I have a good memory.

The restaurant "La Confiance" is located at the entrance to Mont Saint-Michel. I tried their €19.90 set menu one weekday evening, which included a galette and a baked apple with caramel. Very good and the service was pleasant.

The food was great but the service was not pleasant. We were approached by a waitress, Alex (young woman with tattoo on her neck) - she asked us in French if we were ready to order. She spoke very fast, so my friend who studies French didn’t catch the question. Then the waitress asked us “English?” And when we said “yes please”, she had such an annoyed face, it was clear without any words that we were not welcomed there by her. Considering the amount of tourists coming from all around the world to see magnificent Mont Saint Michel, it was really unexpected to experience such behaviour from the waitress in such highly rated restaurant. It seems that we were just unlucky because when we paid attention to other guests and waiters, they all looked pleasant and welcoming to the guests. In the end, we left full of food but also frustrated with the service.

One of the most awesome experience. The food was delcious and beautifully served. The chefs are great. Fast clean cooking too. The service by Fafa waitress was the best have ever given. She was very attentive for every client detail, well behaved and communicative. She gave us the best sugesstion for food. She remembers all the other tables orders. She loves her job. And you should know this. I have my self restaurant but in another country and is the person i would always admire to have at my own staff at least one as her 🤞💁‍♀️🧿😇🦋.
