La Côte de Lumiere sur La Tranche-Sur-Mer

I absolutely loved the Hôtel La Côte de Lumière in the Vendée region! The welcome was exceptionally warm, with service and thoughtful touches that far exceeded what you'd expect from a 2-star hotel. The rooms were immaculate, the bedding very comfortable, and the hotel was impeccably maintained. Its location is ideal, very close to vast, unspoiled beaches, in a peaceful setting that truly invites relaxation and serenity. The couple who run the hotel are both highly professional and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. A simple, pleasant, and authentic place where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers looking for a peaceful stay in the Vendée!

It's very clean, and the bedding is of high quality. The location is also excellent. It's in a small town just a few minutes from the beach. Following my stay on April 29, 2026, I found the hotel surprising because it shows its age, but apart from that, what a welcome! Morigann is pleasant, smiling, and attentive; frankly, I have nothing to complain about. The room is very clean, no frills, which I appreciate. The restaurant is perfect; in short, I recommend it for a peaceful and simple stay. Don't hesitate to book; you'll be won over. Just be aware that the parking is a bit of a walk, but honestly, is that the most important thing?
