Quiet hotel, attentive staff, impeccable service. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious local products. Thank you to Véronique for her warm welcome, helpfulness, and excellent advice; congratulations on her professionalism! As for the restaurant, the service was perfect, and the meal was delicious. Congratulations to the chef! We recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A wonderful memory of this stopover in the heart of the small village of Chavignol. The hotel is opposite a producer of Crottin de Chavignol cheese, a family who also produces very high-quality Sancerre and Pouilly wines (their estate is not far from the hotel). The hotel is charming, and finally: A fantastic tasting menu at the restaurant, which I chose to pair with wines from the Bourgeois family (high-end wines, including glasses of wine that sell for over €40 a bottle at the estate). The entire tasting menu was served for €40 – a real bargain, don't hesitate! The restaurant also has a very lovely decor. I will definitely return.

The rooms were very pleasant, spacious, and comfortable! Regarding the restaurant, my opinion was positive but mixed. The service was impeccable and friendly, and the staff attentive. Overall, we had a lovely evening, and the establishment definitely deserves its 5 stars. A brief comment on the food, if I may say so myself: all the dishes showed considerable and generous effort, perhaps too generous, which lacked a bit of elegance and finesse. For example, the creams were a little heavy, the fish wasn't deboned, and the Jerusalem artichoke wasn't peeled. This slightly detracted from the experience! Nevertheless, I recommend it!

We didnt stay, but had dinner - the set menu. We had high hopes, given the price and Michelin recommendation, and while the food was great, it was let down by the service, and the atmosphere in the restaurant. My partner has an allergy which we felt was dealt with dismissively.(we doubt it was checked with the chef - didn't feel particularly reassured). The waiter just put the food down and walked away, and felt rushed. The music was a bit intrusive, the room slightly cold and a light flickering - small things, but all a disservice to the great food. Eric the sommelier/waiter was really lovely and helpful when he served us, but our main server didn't seem particularly interested, which is a shame - the service really did let down what was some good food.

We ate at this restaurant as a family and were not disappointed. The welcome and service were beyond reproach. The dishes are well-crafted, both visually and tastefully.

Third visit to this establishment. Another joy.
