My 8-year-old son's review:
The meal was very good (I had the chicken and chorizo skewers).
The presentation was precise.
The dessert was also very good and generous, just like the main course.
The staff is very friendly.

We came for dinner twice. The first time was a delicious experience with a tartiflette, the second time with a Savoyard fondue. We loved it! The dishes were beautiful and flavorful, and the service was wonderful! Can't wait to come back! 👌💛

For all Basques (and lovers of the Basque Country), I recommend La Crémaillère in Alpe d'Huez, and particularly their baby squid Bayonnaise style and the Plumas de porc. Milesker, Agur.

Two years in a row and still just as good! Special mention for the pluma and magret, as usual delicious, and despite the generous portions, you don't want to stop. So, like last year, I'll see you next year! Thank you!

Sensational food, the best steak ever.
Booked in advance via their WhatsApp and so glad we did! Small restaurant but such high quality food and service. We ordered their steak platter for 2 and it comes with so much food. Jacket potato, 1kg of steak, veggies and then bread to soak up the juices - insane!! Drinks were also great and well priced. We left very full and very happy. The vibes were also very cosy and fun, defo book in advance as they were turning people away and only do 2 sittings!

Love the combination between local mountain and basque country dishes. Vegetarian starters were amazing, so az the magret canard and the basque style raclette. We had a really great time with friends. It was helpful to book it in advance.

The service was top-notch, living up to its reputation. The bistro atmosphere is truly pleasant: the lively conversations fill the room without ever being intrusive.
The food is equally impressive: the fondue is delicious, the duck breast flavorful, and the beef perfectly cooked. A special mention goes to the gourmet coffee—it was divine! The prices remain reasonable, a real bonus. I think you can expect to spend around €40 per person, not including wine.
With such a reputation, tables fill up quickly… it's best to call ahead!

Very happy to have vegetarian options.
We tried the vegiflette with mushrooms, which was very good.
The basquiflette is also original!
The portions are generous, which is much appreciated in the mountains.
