A delight from start to finish! We visited as a family during our stay, and the Crêperie du Donjon more than lived up to its reputation. Everything was perfect: impeccable cuisine, a friendly atmosphere, and attentive, always smiling waitstaff. A must-visit if you're in Montrichard.

A delicious crêperie! The crêpes are thin, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and the service very friendly. A real treat for the taste buds, I highly recommend it!

Delicious crepes, a pleasant outdoor terrace, fast service, and above all... a top-notch customer experience thanks to a team of cheerful young people dedicated to quality service. How many restaurants have you been to where you want a different dessert than the one on the menu, a cheaper one, and they refuse? Well, not here. Common sense in a restaurant... It's refreshing! Thank you.

01/08/2026: The location is a big plus: on a very pleasant little square with a view of the keep. The meal was decent.
29/07/2026: Pleasant terrace at this time, 7:30 pm. Good atmosphere, friendly waiters and waitresses, our meat was cooked perfectly, and the portion size was just right for small eaters like us. Reasonable price for a set menu (main course and dessert) €25.

Cafe du Centre

19/07/2026: The welcome was a bit cold and some beer prices were excessive (a pint of Vendée IPA at €9.60 is outrageous!).
15/07/2026: Restaurant chosen by Gilou the Menace, advertised as "air-conditioned and super good." Unbearably hot, despite the fans, a tiny bucket of fries, unsalted and without sauce, meant to be shared between three of us (we had to ask for seconds). No hot dishes on the menu (I would have liked something hot, even though the steak tartare wasn't bad). The cook (probably some obscure alchemist from ancient times) attempted an apricot recipe with a satanic mint/lemon/E85 ethanol/asbestos granita which, despite her best efforts, failed to win her over. Pleasant welcome, fairly quick service, reasonable prices, and an easily accessible location, even for the locals.
